Random things...

Upcycled grapevine wreath using strips of patriotic ribbon tied into double knots and left to fray.

Can't wait for June when the peonies arrive!!

2010's Christmas card made using picassa and a line from our favorite holiday movie!  Inside said:  "This card is the symbol of the spirit of the Beresh family Christmas."  Caused quite the stir with some of our friends.  I kinda think profanity is even funnier when it involves a toddler & a holiday!

Alcoholic Diaper Cake

When your best friend & drinking buddy is expecting twins, why not make her a gift that is as much for her as for the babies.. an alcohol themed diaper cake!  Build to size with assorted diapers, fill in with baby goods and mommy goods:  individual size bottles of booze and fancy drink adornments.  I found the "Beware: Toddler & Twins On Board" bumper sticker and the "I have twins, make mine a double" magnet on cafe press.  Wrap in bright cello w/ a big bow and a sign : "In case of baby emergency, change diaper.  In case of mommy emergency, open bottle." Sure to cause a spectacle at the shower!

Why I needed Tylenol over the holidays...

Making gingerbread train for Santa.  The icing held about as well as using water for glue.

Someone starting dancing at the party before we got to the party!
The extent of Nick's effort to enjoy family Christmas.  Hey, at least he could drink a beer!  I could be so lucky!

Party hats and noise makers really make me reach for the Tylenol!

Meet Luke

Luke is my adorable 3 year old who is anxiously awaiting to be a big brother in April.  And by "anxiously" I mean refusing to acknowledge that he will not longer be the lone center of the Beresh-Naugle universe.  What can I say, he is acting just like his mommy did when she found out she was expecting him!
